"You can never have enough good people. When a client comes in with a specific task, pace
and timing are crucial. It's about being quick to present suitable profiles that
fit the job well."
According to Martin, the West Danish representation of TechPeople, which has an office at Rymarken in
Aarhus V, is in a very good shape. Almost all of the consultants who are currently out on assignments are
extended because the client comes up with new tasks after the originally agreed ones have been solved.
There is also a good inflow of new clients. The same is true on the consultancy side.
"Among others, I would like to welcome Paw Max Andersen. He is an expert in 3D design, UX
and project management and is currently solving a task for a large manufacturing company in southern Jutland."
Martin Withus expects to see an increase in the number of client assignments in 2021, while the hunt
for suitable consultants will intensify even more.
"It's still the case in our industry that good people are in short supply. This is true both in IT
and in embedded development. Competition for good consultants is increasing. Here
we try to stand out by listening very carefully to consultants to find just the tasks
that suit them best."
"In general, we plan to refine our search process even more. We want to
engage with customers earlier, so we can look a little further ahead than just a few months.
This will allow us to do extra thorough work to find suitable candidates, says
Martin Withus, who expects TechPeople's Aarhus office to increase staffing during the year."
"We will soon need more staff to handle both customer enquiries and
the selection of consultants. There is enough to do!"
